Howie Klein - former President of Reprise Records

Howard Klein (February 20, 1948 – December 24, 2025) was an American writer, political activist, media personality, and onetime record label executive, DJ, and producer. He was the president of Reprise Records from 1989 to 2001. His advocacy extended beyond the airwaves in the late '70s when he co-founded 415 Records, one of the era’s most important indie labels, home to Romeo Void, Translator and Wire Train, among others. Howie was a friend of mine and he'll be missed..
